Eligibility Criteria
- The families must not have a permanent house.
- The Individuals in extreme poverty or reliant on begging.
- Manual scavengers.
- The Members of Primitive Tribal Groups.

PM Awas Yojana Gramin Registration (Inspector Login)
STEP 1: If the citizens are appointed scheme inspectors with data entry privileges for PMAY-G, are requested to visit the official PM Gramin website to complete their registration under PMAY-G.
STEP 2: Once the citizens reach the homepage of the official website they must click on the option called “Data Entry” under the heading “Awassoft”.
STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the citizens must click on the option “login” under the heading “DATA ENTRY For AWAAS+”.
STEP 4: Now the citizens must complete the login process by entering their email ID and password along with the captcha code and clicking on the option “login”.
STEP 5: The application form will appear on your desktop screen the citizens must enter all the details that are asked and attach all the necessary documents.
STEP 6: After entering all the details the citizens must quickly review it and click on the option “submit” complete their process.
Registration Process for Citizen
STEP 1: All the citizens of India who want to register under the PM Awas Yojana Gramin are requested to collect all the necessary documents first.
STEP 2: After successfully collecting all the required documents the citizens must gather them and reach their nearest Gram Panchayat office.
STEP 3: After reaching the gram panchayat the citizens must consult with the concerned official and give the official all their documents.

STEP 5: After successful verification, the citizens will receive their financial assistance transfer directly to their bank accounts.
Allotment Process
- After successful verification of the beneficiary, a sanction order is issued in the name of the respective beneficiaries.
- This order includes a Quick Response (QR) code for tracking and the QR code will be given to the beneficiaries by sms or through the PMAY-G portal.
- The sanction letter for the house is issued normally in the name of the woman in the household, or jointly in the name of both the husband and wife.
- The inclusion of women promotes gender equality in property ownership.
Fund Release Process
- After the issuing of the sanction order, the beneficiaries will start receiving financial assistance.
- The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the bank account or post office account of the beneficiary through the DBT process.
