Type of Ration Card
There are a total of 4 types of ration cards in Rajasthan state namely-
- APL – The APL ration card also known as above poverty line ration card is the card that will be given to all the general citizens of Rajasthan. If the citizens of Rajasthan state hold a blue APL card then they are eligible to receive two gas cylinders or if the citizens hold a green APL ration card they are eligible to receive only one gas cylinder.
- BPL – Ab BPL Ration card also known as the above poverty line ration card. This type of ration card will be given to those citizens those families who are chosen by the Village Assembly, Municipal corporation, and municipality. The color of this ration card is dark pink.
- State BPL- Just type of ration card will only given to the families of Rajasthan state who are identified as state BPL by the Gram Sabha or Municipality. The color of this type of ration card is dark green.
- AAY- This type of ration card will only be given to those individuals who fall under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana. The color of this Antyodaya Anna ration card is yellow.

Eligibility Criteria
- The citizens must not already possess a ration card.
- All the permanent residents of Rajasthan state can apply.
- If the citizens have a temporary or expired direction card they can apply for a new one.

- For the Household Head: Aadhaar Card, Jan Aadhaar, Voter ID, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Bank Passbook, Mobile Number, Address Proof (Gas Connection, Electricity Bill), 2 Passport size photos, Old Ration Card (if any).
- For Members: Aadhaar Card, 2 Passport size photos, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Bank Passbook.
Subsidized Commodities (Items)
- Food Grains: Food grains including wheat and rice will be given to the cardholders at a subsidized rate.
- Sugar and Kerosene: The cardholders will also receive sugar and kerosene based on the category of their ration card
- Other items: Some fair-price shops will also offer additional items like pulses oil and salt at a subsidized rate for the ration card holders.
Rajasthan Ration Card Apply Online
STEP 1: All the citizens of Rajasthan state who want to apply for the Rajasthan ration card are requested to visit their nearest E-Mitra center.
STEP 2: Once the citizens reach the center they must consult with the concerned official and ask for the Ration Card offline form.
STEP 3: The citizens must start filling up the form by entering all the details that are asked for all necessary documents and also get it attested by your Sarpanch (for Gram Panchayat) or Chairman (Nagarpalika).
STEP 4: After filling out all the details the citizens can submit the form back to the government officials and complete their process.

STEP 1: All the citizens of Rajasthan state who have already applied for the Rajasthan ration card are required to visit the official Ration Card website to check their application status online.
STEP 2: Once the citizens reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option called “Ration Card Application Status”.

STEP 1: All the citizens of Rajasthan state who have already applied for the Rajasthan ration card are required to visit the official website to check their Ration Card List online.
STEP 2: Once the citizens reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option called “जिले वार राशन कार्ड विवरण”.
STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the citizens must select district, block, Panchayat, and village.
STEP 4: The list of ration cards will now appear on your desktop.
Download/Print Ration Card
- All the citizens of Rajasthan state who want to download a print their ration card must do the above process first.
- Once the list of ration cards appears on your desktop screen the citizens can click on their ration card number to download their ration card.
- The citizens of Rajasthan state can also download their ration card by using the Digilocker app.
- After opening the app the citizens must go to the search bar and enter a ration card and from the search results the citizens must click on the option “ration card”.
