To make sure that each female citizen of Maharashtra state lives a comfortable life without financial worry the Maharashtra state government announced the launch of the Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024. The scheme was first introduced by the Finance Minister of Maharashtra state Mr Ajit Pawar during the representation of the budget of the financial year 2024-25. After the announcement, the scheme was launched in the Maharashtra state by the Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde on 15th July 2024. Since then the state government has been providing financial assistance to all the selected female citizens of the state every month.
Overview
This Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 was launched to provide financial assistance to all the female citizens of Maharashtra state. The selected female citizens are eligible to receive monitoring incentives of up to INR 1500 per month. Also, the state government will use the direct bank transfer (DBT) process to provide the funds under the scheme. The DBT method is adopted by the state government to increase transparency and the speed of the whole fund-transferring process. The female citizens are free to use the financial assistance for whatever reason they want they can get food commodities, healthcare services, or education according to their choice.

One of the main objectives of launching the Ladki Bahin Scheme 2024 is to empower the female citizens of Maharashtra state by providing the benefits of the scheme.
